BMA is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting training for the cadets for the grant of commission as competent military officer. BMA conducts different courses varying of duration from 1 week to 208 weeks. Training duration for long course has been revised since January 2015 in which total three years cadets training followed by 01 year post commission academic training is conducted. List of conducted courses are given below:

- d. Direct Short Service Commission (For Trainee Officers of Army Medical Corps, Army Dental Corps)
- e. Direct Short Services Commission (DSSC) Special Purpose (For Army Medical Corps, Army Dental Corps, Engineers, Signals, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers)
- f. Graduate Course
- g. Special Short Services Commissioning/ Regular Commissioning Courses for Overseas Cadets
- h. Potential Platoon Commander's Course (PPCC)
- j. Drill Instructor's Course (DIC)
- k. Post Commission Academic Training (PCAT)
- l. Professor under Officer Course (PUOC)
- m. Orientation Training for Cadets passed out from Foreign Military Academy (before joining respective Formations / Units)
- n. Any other Course/Training assigned by Army Headquarters
