In order to make the officer cadets (OCs) of BMA believe and behave in an honourable and dignified way, BMA provides them a congenial environment. This environment has been ascertained by the introduction of an ‘Honour Code’ which echoes "AN OFFICER CADET / OFFICER CADET (FEMALE) SHALL LEAD A LIFE OF HONOUR AND INTEGRITY. HE / SHE SHALL NOT LIE, CHEAT OR STEAL". It signifies each OC’s moral obligation towards the people of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Army, and the Bangladesh Military Academy in general, and to every OC in particular. The code shows the boundaries of moral conduct within which every OC is expected to act. The code has been designed to act as the foundation of a moral standard and ethical values of the OCs.
