Faculty of Business and Social Science (FBSS), BUP started its journey of "Excellence through knowledge" as a faculty in 2015 with the inception of four years honours curriculum in BMA. Currently three departments of this faculty are offering BBA/BSS (Honours) programmes to officer cadets (OCs)/Young Officers (YOs) on International Relations, Economics and Bachelor of Business Administration as a part of academic programme in BMA.
The objective of academic programme is to educate each officer cadet (OC) as a knowledgeable university graduate with inspiration to pursue higher studies. Therefore, the purpose of the academic programme is to provide the OCs/YOs with intellectual foundation for serving as well-educated commissioned officers who possess the knowledge and skills necessary for their continued professional development. The graduates from FBSS, BUP are expected to integrate knowledge and skills to anticipate and respond appropriately to the opportunities and challenges in a changing world.

Therefore, the graduates from FBSS, BUP are expected to integrate knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines to anticipate and respond appropriately to the opportunities and challenges in a changing world. More precisely, graduates should:
1. Be capable to communicate effectively with all audiences.
2. Think critically and creatively.
3. Demonstrate the capability and desire to pursue progressive and continued intellectual development.
4. Recognize ethical issues and apply ethical perspectives and principle in decision making.
5. Integrate and apply knowledge and methodological approaches gained through in-depth study of an academic discipline.
The FBSS offers and regulates undergraduate degrees in multi-disciplinary dimensions in the fields of business and social sciences through following 3 departments:
