On 20 July 2022 CoAS, Indian Army visited BMA.

He visited 'Shadhinata Manchitra', a wonderful structure commemorating our history of the Liberation War including the historic speech of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He then visited BMA Museum to learn about the history of Bangladesh Military Academy. He was highly impressed about the lucid way of preserving and projecting the history. He was also fascinated by the vision of the Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in inducting female officers in Bangladesh Army.

To have an overview and a bird's eye view of Bangladesh Military Academy, the Chief of the Army Staff, Indian Army lastly visited Commandant's Office at Bangabandhu Complex. Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, hdmc, ndc, psc briefly appraised the visiting team about Bangladesh Military Academy. Commandant, BMA also expressed his gratitude to the Indian delegation for visiting BMA and handed over mementos to CoAS and other delegation members. CoAS, Indian Army also reciprocated with mementos and appreciated the contribution of the elite academy in grooming future leaders of Bangladesh Army.

Lastly, the CoAS thanked Commandant for hosting Indian delegation and promised to hold this marvelous time in his heart.

Commandant, BMA, along with his Spouse went to see off the CoAS and the delegation at Bangladesh Air Force Base, Zahur on the following day.
