The grand and dazzling President Parade of 85 BMA Long Course and 58 BMA Special Course unfolded its splendor on December 4, 2023, at the Bangladesh Military Academy at Bhatiary, Chattogram. The esteemed Chief of Army Staff (CAS), General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP (BAR), OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, reviewing the impeccably presented contingent and saluting the vibrant parade.

In a momentous gesture, the Chief Guest presented the highly prestigious 'Sword of Honour' for outstanding performance to Battalion Senior Under Officer (BSUO) A M Sunjid. Additionally, Company Senior Under Officer (CSUO) Riyad Hussain was honored with the 'Chief of Army Staff (CAS) Gold Medal' for glorious result in military subjects, while Officer Cadet Harsa Nimesa Thilanha Hitharochy from Sri Lanka received the outstanding 'Bangladesh-India Friendship Trophy' as the Best Overseas Cadet.

Welcoming the Chief Guest in a gracious manner to the BMA Parade Ground were distinguished personalities including Lieutenant General Ahmed Tabrej Shams Chowdhury, SBP, BSP, ndc, psc, M Phil, General Officer Commanding of the Army Training and Doctrine Command; Major General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc, General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Chattogram Area; and Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD, the Commandant of the Bangladesh Military Academy.
