The grand and colourful President Parade of 84 BMA Long Course was held on 06 June 2023 at Bangladesh Military Academy, Bhatiary, Chattogram. General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, the Chief of the Army Staff, Indian Army, reviewed the parade as the Chief Guest.  A total of 148 officer cadets including two foreign officer cadets from South Sudan and United Republic of Tanzania were commissioned from this renowned military academy.

The respected Chief Guest was received at the Parade Ground by General Officer Commanding, Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lieutenant General Ahmed Tabrej Shams Chowdhury, SBP, BSP, ndc, psc, MPhil, General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Chattogram Area, Major General Mizanur Rahman Shameem, BP, OSP, BAM, ndc, psc and Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD.

High ranking military and civil government officials, local elites and guardians of the newly commissioned officers were present and  witnessed the most spectacular and smartly turned out parade of 84 BMA Long Course from the gallery.

The Chief Guest took the salute of the parade and handed over the most prestigious 'Sword of Honour' for the all-round performance to Battalion Senior Under Officer (BSUO) Sheikh Sabbir Ahmad and 'Chief of Army Staff (CAS) Gold Medal' to Company Sergeant Major (CSM) Md Tanvir Rahman Topu for his best performance in Military Subjects. He also handed over the 'Bangladesh-India Friendship Trophy' to Officer Cadet Emarton John Kombo of Tanzania for the best performance as foreign officer cadet.
