The grand and colorful President Parade of 87 BMA Long Course and 59 BMA Special Course was held on 03 December 2024, at Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA), Bhatiary, Chattogram. General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of the Army Staff, Bangladesh Army reviewed the parade as the Chief Guest. A total of 231 officer cadets were commissioned from this renowned military academy through this event. 

The respected Chief Guest was received at the Parade Ground by General Officer Commanding, Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lieutenant General Md Mainur Rahman, SUP, awc, psc, General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Chattogram Area, Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman, BSP, SUP, ndc, psc and Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy Major General Khandaker Md Shahidul Emran, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil.

High-ranking military and civil government officials, esteemed members of diplomatic corps, local elites and the guardians of the newly commissioned officers attended the event and witnessed the spectacular and impeccably turned-out parade. 

The Chief Guest took the salute of the parade and presented the prestigious 'Sword of Honour' for all-around performance to Battalion Senior Under Officer (BSUO) Md Abdullah Al Arafat. He was also awarded with the 'Chief of Army Staff Gold Medal' for his outstanding performance in military subjects.
