A fresh leadership era commenced at BMA with the arrival of the new commandant, Major General Khandaker Md Shahidul Emran, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil on August 17, 2024. His official tenure began the following day, August 18, 2024 with a schedule packed with essential engagements. These included taking the salute of house guard, an inspection of the quarter guard, a welcome darbar and concluding the day with an address to the officers.
