On 15 August 2023, the 48th National Mourning Day was observed at this Academy with due honour and solemnity. As part of the programme of the day, the National Flag was kept hoisted at Quarter Guard of BMA. A special documentary on the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was shown and a special prayer was organized at BMA mosque during the Juhr prayer where all Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Other Ranks and civil personnel were present. In observance of the occasion, a few more activities were arranged at BMA Ladies' Club, BMA Children Club and Sena Paribar Kalyan Samity in which all members of the respective area and Respected Commandant Madam remained present.
