Many cadets struggle to swim and remain as weak swimmers during their stay at BMA. In fact, BMA always undertakes a lot of efforts to train the weak cadets on all dimensions. However, what else can be more effective than inspiration by the senior officers of the Academy. On 29 October 2023 at BMA Swimming Pool Complex, respected Commandant, Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD addressed all the weak swimmers. He made it clear that swimming is more of skill and has little to do with strength. He physically participated in the swimming demonstration and took only 55 seconds to cross the pool.  Amongst the senior officers, Director of Studies, Dean Engineers, Battalion Commander and Colonel Omar, Faculty Head of Sc, took part in the demonstration. All officers of the academy witnessed this fascinating event.
