The Final Round of Inter Company English Debate Competition Winter Term-2024 was held at Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) on 25 September 2024.

The topic of the Debate Competition of this term was 'Soft power, not hard power, plays a more important role in ensuring security of states in the present days'.

Hamid Company and Mostafa Company participated in the Final Round where they fought for the motion and against the motion respectively. The debaters of both the teams exhibited a very high standard of debate. All officers and Officer Cadets of BMA enjoyed the highly contested event. Eventually, Mostafa Company was adjudged the Champion and Hamid Company became the Runner-up. Officer Cadet Minhaj representing Mostafa Company became the Best Debater by his superb presentation skill, logic, and counter logic.

Major General Khandaker Md Shahidul Emran, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, Commandant BMA graced the event as the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes   among the winners.
