Bangladesh Military Academy arranged Inter-Company English Debate Competition Winter Term-2022 among the cadets of all four companies namely Bir Sreshtho Hamid Company, Bir Sreshtho Jahangir Company, Bir Sreshtho Rouf Company and Bir Sreshtho Mostafa Company. Preliminary round of the competition took place on 19 July 2022 with the participation of debaters of all companies where Bir Sreshtho Jahangir Company and Bir Sreshtho Hamid Company respectively secured 1st and 2nd position to compete in the final round.

Final round of Inter-Company English Debate Competition was held on 3 August 2022 at BMA Auditorium. All the officers of BMA and officer cadets of all terms except first term were present to witness the competition. Bir Sreshtho Jahangir Company argued for the motion whereas Bir Sreshtho Hamid Company argued against the motion. Debaters of both the companies presented their logic and counter-logic with extraordinary zeal and enthusiasm which made their battle of words very enjoyable and received high notes of accolades from the chief guest as well as the audience. Bir Sreshtho Jahangir Company won the laurel of Championship and Bir Sreshtho Hamid Company became runner up. The competition was followed by an extempore speech session where randomly selected final term cadets showed an excellent oratory skill which roused immense interest among the junior cadets. Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy witnessed the competition as Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. In his closing address, the Chief Guest emphasized on acquiring competency in communication and oratory skills by all the officer cadets of Bangladesh Military Academy.
