Commandant Parade of 86th BMA Long Course was held on June 4, 2024, at the parade ground of Bangladesh Military Academy. Cadets from 86th BMA Long Course and the Junior Division of 1st Bangladesh Battalion showcased a spectacular parade full of vigor and enthusiasm. Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy, reviewed the parade as the Chief Guest and delivered an insightful speech, imparting significant advice to the graduating cadets. This year, a total of 181 Officer Cadets were commissioned from this prestigious academy. The Battalion Senior Under Officer (BSUO) was honored as the ‘Best All-Round Cadet’ and received the coveted ‘Sword of Honour.’ Additionally, a foreign Officer Cadet from Sri Lanka was commissioned and awarded the illustrious Bangladesh-India Friendship Trophy.
