Commandant Parade of 85 BMA Long Course and 58 BMA Special Course was held on 02 December 2023 at the parade ground of Bangladesh Military Academy. The cadets of 85 BMA Long Course and Junior Division of 1st Bangladesh Battalion displayed a spectacular parade full of vigor and enthusiasm. Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD, Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy, reviewed the parade as the Chief Guest and articulated significant notes for the passing-out cadets in his insightful speech. This time, a total of 260 Officer Cadets including 10 Trainee Officers from 58 BMA Special Course were commissioned from this prestigious Academy. The Battalion Senior Under Officer (BSUO) was adjudged as the ‘Best all-round Cadet’ with the most coveted ‘Sword of Honour’. 

A foreign Officer Cadet of Sri Lanka was also commissioned with an illustrious Bangladesh-India Friendship Trophy from this Military Academy.
