On 20 September 2023, a high level delegation of Kuwait Armed Forces visited Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). The team comprised of 05 members (1x Major General, 3x Brigadier General, 1x Lieutenant Colonel) led by Major General Khaled A H H M Alkandari, ACOS (Admin and Power Department), Kuwait Armed Forces. 

The head of the delegation called on Major General S M Kamrul Hassan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD, Commandant, Bangladesh Military Academy. Later on, a thorough separate briefing session was held for all members of the delegation where views of both the sides were exchanged. 

The day long visit included views and queries on the training of overseas cadets in BMA. Subsequently, the team visited different training and administrative facilities of BMA e.g. Library, Language Lab, physical training facilities, weapon training facilities, horse riding school, cadets' dormitory and academic training facilities inside “Bangabandhu Complex”. Thereafter, the delegation had a guided tour at BMA Museum. BMA also hosted a light refreshment and souvenir handover session in honour of the Kuwait Delegation. Commandant, BMA, Major General S M Kamrul Hasan, ndc, hdmc, psc, PhD accompanied the delegation throughout and enriched the delegation on different detailed information of BMA. Certainly, the visit enhanced the impression of the delegation about BMA and they assured exploring the opportunity of sending Kuwaiti cadets for military training to one of the finest military academies like ‘BMA’.
